Wladimir Klitschko got poisoned. Corrie Sanders retired again. George Foreman did not come back. Mike Tyson filed for bankruptcy before the WBC did. Roy Jones Jr. went back to light heavyweight and got knocked out. And so forth. ...

At least Max Schmeling did not announce a comeback, and it's only been 66 years and a day since Clem McCarthy's famous call, "Schmeling is down, Schmeling is down." ...
