British & Commonwealth Light Middleweight Champion Jamie Moore can't wait to fight before what is expected to be a packed King's Hall crowd in Belfast Saturday night. The 25-year-old from Salford defends his 11stone Commonwealth Championship against British-based Ghana Ossie Duran, the neat boxer who holds the Commonwealth Title at welterweight, as chief support to Magee v Reid.
Around 5000 fans are expected and Moorepic by Mr Will told SecondsOut: "All my family are Irish, from Kilkenny in southern Ireland, and I've got a lot of support in Belfast, too. They really took to me when I fought there in November (winning a cracker v Andrew Facey) and it was an amazing atmosphere. Now with Brian fighting Robin Reid on the top of the bill the place should be buzzing and I'm hoping to put on a sizzler of a performance for them."
