The Sun's boxing scribe joined the Ringside debate on the Hitman's future following his disappointing showing against Carlos Wilfredo Vilches.
But while promoter Frank Warren has vowed to set up an October showdown with unbeaten lightweight ace Paul Spadafora or newly-appointed WBA champion Vivian Harris, Hart thinks different.
He believes the WBC champ Gatti, who defends against Leonard Dorin on July 24, is the best option for Hatton if he hopes to make his mark on the very cream of an explosive light-welterweight division.
