So the World Boxing Council has declared itself bankrupt.
Who cares apart from a few fighters and their armies of handlers, managers, bloodsuckers, leeches and hangers-on?
There are more than enough world bodies to keep the alphabet soup swilling around.
Was the WBC any better than the rest of them?
The answer's almost certainly no.
A couple of years back International Boxing Federation boss Robert Lee was jailed in the US for accepting bribes in return for advancing fighters' rankings.
