Cycling: Ljungblad wins cycling tour

Swedish cyclist Jonas Ljungblad claimed overall honours in the 11-day Herald Sun tour which finished today.

Ljungblad, riding for the Europcar-Pelaco team, finished in the main bunch in today's 81.6 km final stage at Traralgon.

Australians David McKenzie (Bicycle Superstore) and Ben Brooks (McGee-NSWIS) were second and third overall respectively.

Another Australian rider, William Walker from the Jayco team, was first across the line in today's concluding stage.

Walker was part of a nine-man breakaway today and he held on to finish 22 seconds clear of the peloton.
