Procycling columnist Frank Hoj is close to signing an improved deal with a Pro Tour team, but it is still not certain which one of two teams will snag him.

Procycling columnist Frank Hoj will decide next Wednesday where he’ll be riding next year. Currently with CSC, the Danish rider has been offered a two-year contract by German outfit Gerolsteiner but, according to a clause in his contract with Team CSC team manager Bjarne Riis, CSC has one week to match that offer – the deadline being Wednesday, writes Susanne Horsdal.
