Retired Supreme Court judge Robert Anderson says he is optimistic about completing his inquiry into drug use by Australian cyclists by next Thursday's deadline.
Justice Anderson has been charged with heading the probe into alleged drug use by cyclists at the Australian Institute of Sport in Adelaide.
Today Justice Anderson said he would be examining whether evidence against any of the five cyclists accused by banned rider Mark French was sufficient to warrant their exclusion from the national squad before the Olympics.
