Rugby, Australian Football: Fletcher released by Hull

Hull FC back-row forward Richard Fletcher has had the remainder of his contract terminated with two years left to run.

The 23 year-old local product originally signed as a 16-year-old after coming through the club's youth system. However, a run of unfortunate injuries in recent times has meant his first-team run-outs have been limited.

The Scotland international has been linked with a move to National League One neighbours Hull KR. He made 71 appearances for the Black and Whites scoring five tries in the process.
