What a match for the first weekend of the Play-Offs: It's Wigan v St Helens no less!!

Saints have endured a tortuous summer and haven't beaten Wigan in Super League IX. It's about time for break that hoodoo and with Paul Sculthorpe, Kieron Cunningham and, of course, Sean Long back in the saddle I honestly feel they are capable of turning over their old foes.

Wigan have also found this campaign to be a battle, and I must say I have been immensely impressed by their performances over the past 10 weeks. Craig Smith and Andy Farrell have put their bodies on the line, when clearly neither have been 100 per cent fit.

Wigan have been a revelation to me as I expected them to do a Hull and hit the brick wall. They haven't, They've stunned me, and I have to applaud them. The ability of Denis Betts to get the bedt out of them has been remarkable.
