A hat-trick of tries from centre Marius Joubert kept alive South Africa's hopes of winning the 2004 Tri-Nations as the Boks beat New Zealand in
Johnannesburg.
Joubert, Breyton Paulse and Jean de Villiers all crossed for the Bokke as they won and claimed a crucial bonus point whilst denying the All Blacks a
losing point of their own.
South Africa next host Australia in a winner-takes-all climax to the tournament at ABSA Stadium in Durban next Saturday.
Tries by Joe Rokocoko and Mils Muliaina, as well as the boot of recalled fly-half Andrew Mehrtens kept the All Blacks in an exciting game, until
winger de Villiers scored late in the second period to seal the win.
