Highly-rated forward Andy Coley has signed a new three-year contract with Salford.
The former Swinton prop, who celebrated his 26th birthday yesterday, was out of contract at the end of the season and had been linked with a possible
move to Wigan.
But Coley has agreed to stay with the Reds, at least until the end of the 2007 season, which is a timely boost for the club following the about-turn
of Duncan McGillivray, who signed for Tetley's Super League rivals Wakefield on Thursday.
