ANTHONY STOKES (Arsenal) - born July 25, 1988




The Dublin-born player is in great hands at Arsenal, having opted to join the Londoners ahead of Manchester United. Can play as a striker or attacking midfielder, he will surely add considerably to his two-minute stint in the senior team in the 2006-07 season.

This guy is the top scorer in the SPL so far, and although i'm not a Falkirk fan I hope he stays in Scottish football, lets hope he come's to Celtic because a player like him needs regular first team football and I feel that he won't get that at Arsenal

Yeah.. Stokes when you did the player to watch post TRD; I had never heard of him.

But like Speight says, he was cracking in SPL. Think he scored 3 hat tricks and in total it was 16 goals in 18 games.

He is supposed to be off to Sunderland now. They are offering more money than what Celtic were will to pay him. It would have been good if he stayed with Falkirk until the end of the season, just to see over the course of the season how he does.

But the other thing is, competing for a player against Sunderland and Charlton don't speak wonders.

I think were going to see a rapid rise of Theo Walcott to the rank of superstar, the lad is awesome, a shame he isn´t playing for LFC
