DANIEL STURRIDGE (Manchester City) - born September 1, 1989




Comes from a strong footballing background, father Simon and uncle Dean were both professionals, but Daniel could outshine them both. City fans are rightly excited by the 16-year-old prospect, who could become a star centre-forward at Eastlands in the years to come.

Sturridge has excelled at youth level and has scored numerous times for the England Under-17 side, most notibly at the European Under-17 Championship in the final against Italy. He signed a new 3 year deal, almost ending speculation that Chelsea are going to sign him.
