OK, according to my reference there has only been 3 undefeated seasons in history, in all divisions. One on the FA Premier League, one in Div 1, and one in Div 2. Can you name the teams and the seasons they were undefeated?

The others are well tough, i cant remember anyone doing it this side of the 2nd world war, so i think it could be well early.. 1920's or below...

Maybe a bad question as the other two were in the 1800's.

Preston NE went 22-0 in 1888-1889

Liverpool went 28-0 in 1893-1894

One more for now.

What division 1 team holds the record for most points in a season since they went to the 3 points for a win format? What season and how many points?

Hehe, that was an amazing run by arsenal. I don't know if that will ever be beaten again, but the way Chelsea are playing and the side they are putting together its not impossible.

Hey i actually remember that, it was quite recent. Can't remember the year (maybe 4 or 5 years ago) but it was Sunderland. They got just over 100 points...

The longest unbeaten streak in the four major American sports (football, hockey, hoops, and baseball) history is actually the Philadelphia Flyers who went 35 games without a loss in 1979/80. They were 25-0-10.
