Fantasy: FANTASY BASEBALL IS BACK.....

Yahoo has just put up their fantasy baseball game, i am thinking that this year we need to go back to a more basic game than we have had the past couple of years, post interest and any ideas/suggestions here....can spring be far behind :party-smiley-018:

WE HAVE A LEAGUE!!!!...i have set us up with a basic league using all the default settings, it is a rotisserie league but we could very easily have a head to head league as well if there is enough interest, settings are changable so all ideas are welcome....

What stats is there on the rotassiary? I think we had a few too many last time.

the scoring will be the same as it was last year, the stat catagories are much simpler with fewer catagories, probably half of what we had...should be a much easier game to play this year, i also chose an auto draft

here are the stat catagories as they are now, like i say, we want this to be a fun league for all, stats can be added or deleted

R, HR, RBI, SB, AVG, W, SV, K, ERA, WHIP

Simpler sounds better to me, it got to be alot of stats last year. you can however count me in to defend my title. I've been waiting since the last game last year for this season to get here.

Toejam as there is only a few batting catorgories, what about adding 1b hits, 2nd base hits, 3rd base hits, like we did in the first fantasy baseball.

i can add stats easily, what does everyone else think of the idea?

Hey, ar ewe going to have a live draft again this year?

i signed us up for an auto draft as it is so hard toget everyone on at the same time, i could change that if that is what people want...

I'd like to look into having a live draft, I think most of us made it last season...

i'll count that as one vote for the live draft, what do you other guys think?

we have 5 teams signed up so far, i am thinking that we should limit the amount of teams in the league to 12, when it fills up we can start another league, this would give us a bigger free agent pool when we need to adjust our lineups later in the season, i always have several fb teams going so would be more than willing to have more than one team here, what do you guys think of this idea? maybe the second league could be head to head scoring????

we still have only 5 teams signed on for the league this year...need to fill it up, also would like some feeback on the type of draft we will have and also how people feel about the stats this year

definately need SB,2B,3B,HR,BB,AVG, on the offensive side, on pitching i say ERA,WHIP,BB,SO,Hold,SV,W,L. as far as the draft is concerned i don't care either way, i went through and edited my list already.
