Fantasy: lawsuit filed over fantasy baseball

a company is suing major league baseball over the use of stats for the fantasy game In a lawsuit that could affect the pastime of an estimated 16 million people, CBC Distribution and Marketing wants the judge to stop Major League Baseball from requiring a license to use the statistics.

The company claims baseball statistics become historical facts as soon as the game is over, so it shouldn't have to pay for the right to use them

MLB continues it's greed. Don't they realize fantasy has brought thousands, maybe millions to MLB, who wouldn't have given it much thought before.

This will be interesting to see how it pans out. The other professional sports will be watching, as they all stand to make huge profits off this if they rule in favor of MLB. Friggin rich ba$tards!
