Why would ice stay suspended in the atmosphere?

At the very least the blue indicates an atmosphere which to a degree has been denied by NASA.

Of course, Mars has an atmosphere. If it didn't, there would be no sky at all (whether red or blue).

Mars' atmosphere is made up of mostly carbon dioxide at 95% with around 3% of nitrogen and a stingy 0.13% of oxygen.
