I was wondering if anybody has ever toured the famed Winchester Mansion in Cali. I've read a lot about it an it seems like a facinating place, also reputed to be haunted by several ghosts.

Yes, I went through it 1983. It is weird that you asked that because we were just discussing it Thursday.

It is a phenomenal thing to experience, since it like you are seeing the inside of a disturbed mind (either spiritually or emotionally, or maybe both).

went there a few years back with my ex. it actually wasn't all that its cracked up to be as far as the tour goes. its interesting to see what a nutcase with too much money can do, but as far as being haunted, I highly doubt it, the only reason people say that is because thats the reason why mrs. winchester built the house, because a psychic told her that all the guns that her (husband/dad?) had helped create was killing people, and all of there souls were going to haunt her unless she made a house and never stopped building on it. I guess she actually slept in a different room every night, theres a sayance(don't know how to spell it) where she prayed every night, and in that same room she was able to spy on her staff if they said anything about her. There was also one time when a big earthquake happened, part of the house got destroyed and she got trapped in a room. its kind of fun to see, but the tour kinda sucked... IMO.

I have been there a few times. I can be there in about 15 minutes.

What do you want to know about it?
