Right now i think the Rockets are the best team in the whole league, they won yet again last night beating Minnestoa 94-76. Francis has been playing totally different this season and also has a different mind-set where he is willing to pass than shoot, also Yao is getting a lot of playing time and is scoring, blockin and rebounding very well.

I dont know if they are the best team out i tohught that the T'Wolves were but the Rockets just flat out crushed them, but they are ranked at the very top. I like the fact that they are using Ming a lot more this season, and its showing in the games. He has scored above 20 points in the last 4 games.

Rockets lost by 5 points to the Grizzlies, and Memphis is a very hard team to beat right now they are 23-18, and playing very solid his year under Brown

Is the rockets really the best team out there no i dont think so, the kings look dominate on the Western side, and on the eastern side it is hard to tell at this point. But i like the Nets and the Pistons.

Rockets are like the 4th or 3rd best team in the west with Kings, T'Wolves, and lakers are 4rd depending on when there star players get back. Until then the Rockets are 3rd

Rockets have a sound team. Great coach who has experience. Yao at center who is getting better every game. Steve Francis at point and mobley and sound players off the bench.

do you actually think that they can contend with the spurs, lakers, and t'wolves.

They can contend with them to a certain extent. Yao can take on their big men, Like he did with shaq last season. And right now any team can take on the Lakers and beat them to a bluddy mess.

Yao and Steve will put fear into oppents But with the Wolves Cassel and Sprewell will be able to stop Steve and KG will bea ble to put a hurting on Yao.

HOuston Rockets but a hurting on the newly re-formed Knicks. Mutumbo couldn't even come close to stop Ming as Ming scored 29 points and 10 rebounds.

The Rockets move to 24-17.

that is what i like to see the rockets doing, they have a great center in YAo and if they give him the ball and playing time he will give them performances like these.

Yao is getting better every game and his dominace over Shaq proved that. Shaq couldnt have been happy with his performance, but i do believe hawkeye stated that this is the team to beat in the wesst.

The Rockets and Hawks are tied in triple overtime right now, 120-120.

Yao Ming has 39 points.

39 seconds left, maybe a 4th OT ???

He was training and playing all off season and he has gained weight and experience the past year or so. He is also getting the ball a lot more in the Van Gundy system and being more aggressive.

Getting the ball helps out a lot, and it has been shwoing and by giving the ball to yao just look at how their record has changed.

Yao Ming recently got NBA Western Conference Player of the Week. He led the Rockets to a 2-1 record and averaged 29.7 points. Wow talk about a dominate week, he scored at least 25 points each of the three games!

Well last week he certainly wasn't stoppable at all by anyone. He dominated Shaq, but the Lakers managed to pull out a close win, but the other games the opposition was simply no match and led to a Houston win. If only Yao could play like this all the time we could be looking at the Rockets as title contenders this season. Steve Francis and Cuttino Mobley also need to learn how to pass the ball better and develop better court vision.
