Ice Hockey: Berard tested positive for Steroids

Now this was a surprise. I wonder if he was on the juice while he was on the leafs. He was one of my favorite players before he got injured and now he is just a nobody to me now.

Don Cherry had some good comments on hockey night in Canada about the whole thing. Once your a doper you'll always be remembered as a doper, past glories will be marred. ie- Ben Johnson, Raffi Palmeiro, etc. I've gotta believe Berard took the juice in an attempt to make his eye heal more. Regardless he's made a mistake.

Dick(Richard) Pound of the Olympic commitee has to be smiling just a little bit. He made accusations a few months ago saying the NHL had a 'roid problem. Still, one in 700 isn't too bad. (so far)
