Vancouver Canucks forward Todd Bertuzzi, whose blindside punch to Steve Moore's head nearly 14 months ago may have permanently knocked the Colorado Avalanche player out of hockey, is hoping to get back into the game himself.

Bertuzzi will meet with NHL commissioner Gary Bettman on Tuesday with the hope of being reinstated to the league. He was suspended indefinitely following the vicious hit on March 8, 2004, that left Moore with a broken neck and concussion and with no guarantee that he'll be able to play professional hockey again.

They should put Bertuzzi at the Negotiating table and throttle both sides till an agreement is reached, if he fails then ts for him

On a serious note he should be barred for life from playing any type of hockey ever again for the rest of his life.

I think Bertuzzi should be out as long as Moore is, plus a 40 game suspension after Moore comes back. If Moore cannot play hockey again, neither should Bertuzzi.

The league has to come down on these acts. They are completely uncalled for. If you want to go after someone, go face-to-face and fight. Cheap shots will just provoke more attacks like this one.

Well it looks like my wish won't come true as Bertuzzi is being reinstated while his victim may never play professional hockey again.
