The trade deadline is comming up. Tuesday is the last day. There have already been some monster moves of some people that I did not expect to change
teams. There have been several teams dumping salary and going to youth, including my very own Minnesota Wild.

Feb 24:
Calgary Flames - Acquired left wing Ville Nieminen from the Chicago Blackhawks for right wing Jason Morgan and a conditional draft pick.
Feb 25:
Colorado Avalanche - Acquired center Darby Hendrickson and an eighth-round pick in the 2004 draft from the Minnesota Wild for a fourth-round
pick in the 2005 draft.
Tampa Bay Lightning - Acquired defenseman Timo Helbling from the Nashville Predators for an eighth-round pick in the 2004 draft.
Feb 27:
Detroit Red Wings - Acquired center Robert Lang from the Washington Capitals for left wing Tomas Fleischmann, a 2004 first-round draft pick and
a 2006 fourth-round draft pick.

Florida Panthers - Acquired right wing Ty Jones from the Chicago Blackhawks for future considerations.

This list does not include players acquired that were on waivers. The biggest moves were by the Rangers and the Capitals. Both are trying to dump as
much salary as possible before the end of the season. The CBA talks could be interesting.
