Baseball: Kevin Mench

Kevin Mench homored in tonights loss to the Indians for his 7th game in a row. This is the first such streak since jim Thome in 2002. Perhaps by posting this I jinxed him?

Do you have him in a fantasy league or something? So far his numbers are looking great, and he always looked like he had potential. The current record for most consecutive games with a home run is 8, held by Jim Thome, Don Mattingly, Dale Long, and Ken Griffey Jr, so I hope you didn't jinx him.

No... both the fantasy leagues I'm in haven't started yet. The main one I'm waiting for is the SportzTawk one here, but we have to wait for Toejame to come back.

Thats too bad...Apparently he has the largest head in MLB (size 8), which could only mean he's destined for greatness. He's shown decent power in the past, and I can see him having a Kirk Gibson type career, although I doubt Texas will ever have playoff success.

Size EIGHT is the largest in baseball???
