seattle is expected to sign japanese catcher Kenji Johjima today or tomorrow
Sources say that Johjima has agreed to terms with Seattle. His name is much bigger in Japan, where he has averaged .305 with 30 homers the past five
years and won seven straight Gold Gloves
if this works out i could be a huge signing for the M's, the catchers spot was a total waste last year after Dan Wilson went down early in the season
with an injury, i don't know how his Japanese stats will translate to the American league but i would expect his home runs to drop a bit in spacious
safeco field
should make for some interesting conversations on the mound
