I personally think its a better way, so i'm guessing Selig makes all the decisions by your reply Enos. You think thats fair? as one person could be very biased with there opinions.

Bob Costas would be ok, he would be welcome on here anyday.

Do you think that one guy should make all the decisions? Is that how it works with Selig? (remember i'm from the UK) In other sports they have a board that make the decisions not one person.

trd are u toejam?

Selig isn't that bad, it's really the player's organization that forces these bad decisions on him. If anyone remembers, his first steroid plan was MUCH more strict, but the player's orginization denied it.

Selig can institute a greater penalty whenever he wants

He's a puppet. He only does what other people tell him to do. He doesn't take a stand for himself. Other than that I don't think he's that bad.

Yea he should just say what he wants to do and do it. Not let other people tell him what to do. He's the Comish' not them.

I have a friend who lived in London. I heard it's a nice place. Were you originally born there or did you move there?

Yep born in East London and have lived there all my life. London is pretty big and i guess its like most places, you get your good areas and your bad. Inner London is getting a bit bad from all the immigrants and illegals that have flooded the area but we have the government to blame for that. Plus its an expensive place to live, but someone like Bud Selig would be able to afford to live here lol!

How many debates have you been involved in TRD? They are really run to do.

Good question, i have always liked sports and played quite a few when i was younger. Plus members of my family have sporting connections. Two have played football/soccer at pro and international level. One was a pro-boxer and i was a semi-pro pool player.

As for the american sports i first started watching them about 18 years ago when we first got cable TV. It started off with the wrestling and then any other sport that was on, i couldn't get enough of them. The first NFL game i watched had the Redskins in it and they won so that was to be my NFL team and still is, first baseball game was the A's v the Yankees so i went for the underdog with the A's and that was to become my team and still is. Slowly i got into the other sports especially nascar by posting on message boards like this one and learnt more and more about them and the teams/players. So by reading what people posted is how i gained my knowledge on US Sports and reading the news, results and doing the fantasy leagues aswell as watching them on the TV.

I havn't done any debates that have been organized, but i have had lengthy discussions in threads about different sports and on another site about conspiracys, secret societies, terroism and other things..

Yea... ATS is best for debates. Maybe enough members here could mean some debate tournaments here on ST.
