Many people feel as though Joe Jackson was innocent of the charges against him. Some feel that he wasn't. What is your take on the subject?

its a totally stupid charge he hit 385 in the series, made no errors, and hit the only series homerun....and they're saying he was trying to lose come on this guy was robbed of his career

I am completely agree, the man was charged and there was nothing he could say about it. His only crime was being illiterate (incase anyone cares, he signed his name with an X).

in '98 ted williams and bob feller started a petition to get joe jackson reinstated but our good ol' friend buddy selig didn't answer the call because he was too busy watching mcguire hugging sosa in a roid fest

Jackson was banned not for throwing the WS, but for failing to report his teammates. It's extremely obvioushe did nothing illegal at all. He should have been in the hall decades ago.
