You two have forgot to mension Frank Robinson. Who I personally believe to be the most underrated player ever.
2943 hits anyone, maybee 586 homers, possibly 1812 RBIs, and just maybee his .294 batting average while playing through a pitcher dominated decade.

F Robinson
Musial
Biggio

Abreu might be the most underrated guy today, since Biggio is about at end.

Honostly... I think Vladimir Guerrero is underrated. People just don't tend to see what he really doesfor his team. Yea, people know tha he's an awesome player, but he's underrated in the fact that noone gives him much credit for what he really does for his team, which is what is going to hurt him in the MVP race which I highly believe he should win... especially if the Angels make the playoffs.

Pie Traynor and George Sisler way underrated

You are also forgetting about Bill Terry. A very underrated first basemen for the New York Giants. I believe he has a .341 career batting average.

and your also forgetting the waner brothers

The waner brothers aren't that underrated. Also, when considering the MOST underrated players of all-time I'm not sure that Big and Little Poison should be considered.

would anyone say hank aaron is underrated? i know he's hit all the home runs, but does anyone really talk about what a great player is? or do they just talk about the record? if you asked most people who a great ball player was, i think they'd name someone like ruth or williams, doesn't aaron hold the most coveted record in the game?

Joe Carter
Larry Doby
Frank Robinson

- Biggio is good but not all-time...not yet at least.

Current players

- Craig Biggio
- Entire Cleveland Indians Team
- Ken Griffey ( Became Underated after 2000)

I have always said that I believe that Hank Aaron is underrated. Whenever I say that to people, they look at me like I have two heads. Lets consider this though, no one truly ever talks about Hank Aaron as being one of the greatest players ever. Furthermore, they only look at his home runs and none of his toher statistics. The man has 3,771 hits, and 2297 RBIs (the most all-time if anyone is wondering), and a .305 career batting average. Hank Aaron is definatly underrated.

3000 hit and the most rbis and homeruns and most people consider mays better i agree

How? How can you think Mays was better?

I dont think Hank Aaron was underatted by anymeans. He is always on my all time list. And a great deal of others. When homeruns are talked about it seems that Aaron is talked about automatically.
