This site time to time seems to recieve many preachers, stating thier opinion on how we should live our lives, and what path we should follow in life.
Though these different views bring some critizism, at times it brings people together on this site.
Everyone has a different bias on the path to God.
What exactly is the path you believe we should follow in order to be redeemed if lets say, the day of judgment were to come.
Deep

"Say: We believe in God, and in what was sent down to us, and in what was sent down to Abraham, Ismail, Isaac, Jacob, and the Patriarchs; and in what was given to Moses and Jesus, and all the prophets from their Lord. We make no distinction among any of them. To Him alone we are submitters " Qur'an, 2:136

This is what I have been talking about in one of the previous topics, all religions come from the same source and are inspired by the same Holy Spirit, thats why the basics are the same, only the ways of worship are different.

"Indeed, those who earn sins and become surrounded by their evil work will be the dwellers of Hell; they abide in it forever.
As for those who believe, and lead a righteous life, they will be the dwellers of Paradise; they abide in it forever. " Qur'an, 2:81-82

What is good and what is evil is the same in every religion or spiritual philosophy. The path of righteous life is a path to God, the path of evil leads to Hell.

But it's not only the path of Evil is it?
Unless you follow a specific set of rules which are deemed "good" by one authority then you will go to Hell.
What if the Bible said "Kill anyone with brown hair or you will not go to Heaven" what then?

Aztec,
What are you talking about?
No offence I really find what you say hard to believe, unless you can provide us with some concrete method.
You could be right for all I know, but stating what you stated with such confidence is a bit anomalous.

I believe in God. I believe God created the earth and the heavens and every human being. I believe that each man will be judged according to his deeds and sins and according to his knowledge of right and wrong.

I believe in the biblical scripture that says:

"Love covers a multitude of sins."

It's my truth as I have assimilated it from interacting with aliens and their technology. I don't expect you to believe it of course, and if I had proof then I'd be broadcasting it worldwide.

Glan....how big of a hypocrit are you anyway? How dare you stand up and preach and witness or whatever and have a satanic avatar? You have an pagan symbol as your representive on this board? According to the religion you so blindly follow, you are going to burn in hell. You have a symbol of black magic and satan dripping in blood in the same area you are quoting the bible. Give me a break!

Ummm it's just a picture bro. I represent what I represent, if you judge me by a petty picture, then you have your own issues to deal with.

God Bless.

I'm not judging you. I'm making an observation. By the religion you follow...the god you envoke...the rules you apparently heed and hold to everyone else...that picture is evil and against god. Is this a true statement? If so, you are violating everything you are defending in this post and others by using a pentagram, a symbol of satan and black magic, as your avatar. It's just an observation "bro".

I DON'T follow religion (man made), I follow the word of GOD. There's a big difference. As for my picture well don't really know what to say. No matter what I put on there you/someone would say something about it. I thought it was a cool picture (That's as far as that goes), if you feel the need to past judgment do it by my words/hopes/beliefs, not by dots.

Happy Thanksgiving

I, too, have ET aliens in my life. I have direct communication with them. In fact, I am part alien physically, and "all alien" as far as my soul is concerned.
There is no "judgement" in the afterlife as far as ETs are concerned. We just do our best while we are here on Earth. (MY GROUP, that is. They are the only ones I know about.)
I am a walk-in. I walked into this body WITH PERMISSION. I was a deceased Grey alien.
I think each situation is different. Each soul has its own path to travel. Mine was to come here next to learn about humans. What better way to learn than to BE one?
I live my the rule to never harm anyone.

Other than the Alien # um I mean comment, it sounds to me like you are quoting out of the satanic bible.

Well, thats the whole point, the Bible doesn't say that.
Maybe my opinion is a bit naive and idealistic, considering all the religion related #e thats going on right now on this planet, but my own little world is much better since I've realised how pointless these religious fights are.

Whos to say who is right? There is no solid evidence that their even is a god. Why waste your time worshipping something that doesnt exist? Why wouldnt you just rechannel that energy into something more conducive to making your life a happy one.
In the end I believe you are gone. Your dead.

End of story.

hmmm intersting post. It implies that religious people are sad, they dont do anything useful and their lives are meaningless. I have encountered this argument many times already, "leave religion and start thinking", or "leave religion and start deciding for yourself what you want to do with your life".
It seems like some people think that a religious person spends their whole life praying and nothing else.
I disagree with that. I live a perfectly normal life, making my own decisions, I go to college, work for several humanitarian organisations, go our on friday night, have a boyfriend, just like any atheist on this planet. Also, I believe in afterlife. I believe in it, it is a state of mind, doesnt require 24 hour dedication to it without doing anything else.
Having a normal life and being a religious person are not mutualy exclusive, you can do both.

I would say for me, a truth is any self ascribed belief that a one sees in absolution. One who says 'their' truth is merrely recognizing it may not be another's even if they know it unto self. That sounds reasonable doesn't it? Who has not at any time in their life argued THEIR opinion. To accept another for whomever thay are is key. A truth by my opinion is an absolute as known to self, by self. If we want to all get technical and know that we all are ones as individual then what about the old: Just because I see blue does another? To me that seems like nonsensical logic or lack thereof. If one knows their birthdate and another does not and wishes to know, does the one asked in telling the other not offer their truth as by known to them?

truth is everything you ever read about god was written printed and sold for a profit by a man.

The truth shall set you free..... For all of you who will not bow.I dont think your going to have a choice..........for those who dont want to bow there is another scripture...something about running and trying to hide...but nowhere to hide will be found.......look around you, was all that we see man made...I think not its to complex....God put great thought into all of his creations..we should all respect eachothers beliefs...but also I think we should all give Jesus a chance...once you truly met him you would know what you believe without a doubt.

Exactly what i would have said.

I dont believe in God, or the Bible, or Heaven and hell, i believe in the more spiritual side of things, like i have said before on ats, in my personal opinion the bible is a story book of morals.

As long as you don't hurt anyone , or yourself, do as you wish. Try to live right, and do the best you can. Life is hard, and we all slip up time to time. Try not to judge others. Basically, experience and enjoy life to the fullest. Try everything once. Don't care what others think. Don't let anyone try to tell you that you are wrong, and going to 'hell'. Keep an open mind, but be proud of what you accomplished.

I believe that all people either go to heaven or hell. But it is not god who decides this, it is us. Because we're the ones leading our lives. Every time you make someone feel loved the feeling is sent to heaven. Every time you envoke fear or hate or pain those feelings go to hell. And those feelings last forever in heaven and hell. If you are nice and go to heaven you will experience these feelings for eternity and not be bothered. But if you chose hell the pain you inflicted will be inflicted on you for eternity.
