Federal investigators involved in the BALCO probe have obtained documents containing steroid test results of every Major League Baseball player from
2003, according to a report in Newsday.
Release of the results could damage the reputation of players who previously believed their tests would remain anonymous, a concern to baseball people
since a significant amount of information related to the BALCO case has been made public during the past several months.
The Burlingame, Calif.-based company Bay Area Laboratory Cooperative specializes in nutritional supplements for athletes. A federal grand jury
indicted four men in February in connection with the distribution of steroids to baseball players, football players and track and field athletes.
