Baseball: hard luck snelling

this kid is something, he was up with the mariners for 8 games a couple of years ago, he was just so thrilled to be in the major leagues, when he was with the m's he blew out his knee rounding third. in the short time he was played he completly won over the fans of the nw with his hustle, enthusiasm, and joy of just playing the game. He is from Australia and after each game he would call mummsy back home and tell her how the game went, he was an instant hit in the nw and i sure hope he makes it back to the bigs

I've never blown out my knee before but I'm guessing that's why. I don't know if an injury like that heals completely. If he's doing as well as before then more power to him, I can't wait to see him play again.
