The Indians had been looking for a true No. 1 pitcher since they moved into The Jake in 1994.
The Tribe tried Dennis Martinez, Charles Nagy, Bartolo Colon and Orel Hershiser, but none of them fit the role. Each seemed either a notch below a
legit No. 1 or too old to handle its demands.
But if one good thing has come from a 67-90 season, it would be this: The Indians have found their No. 1 starter -- C.C. Sabathia.
