Gary Carter and Eddie Murray were inducted into the Hall of Fame today in Cooperstown, NY. I watched both of them growing up and both were excellent
players. Murray was a great switch hitter and Carter was probably the greatest hitting catcher ever, although Pudge and Piazza might have something to
say about that by the time they're done.
Bob Uecker was also inducted as an announcer as he still calls games for his hometown Milwaukee Brewers. He joked(nothing new for Bob, lol) that he
should have made the Hall as a player. He ended his career right on the Mendoza line, .200
