Well what do you guy's think of the game?
And what do you think about home field advantage being decide by the game?
I thought the game was a good game.Didn't like the ending though, leave it to a Dodger to screw it up. Maybe Gagne will go back to Canada and die.
I think it is a bad idea to have a game decide who gets home field. I don't think 2 guys,Blaylock and Gagne decided the fate of home field advantage. Blaylock won't be in the playoff's this year and it doesn't look good for the Dodgers either. So 2 guy's that won't be there in the decided it for everybody. I don't think that is right.

i might warm up to the idea of deciding home field advantage, if they made the all star game a 3 game series. other than that, i won't comment on the game because it makes me mad.

they used to alternate between AL and NL ballparks. now the inteligent thing to do would be to give homefield to whoever had the best record. Bud Selig needs to go and soon. he has almost single handedly destroyed baseball. First interleague play, then that joke tie game last year, now you play the all star game for home field advantage in the series. what's next, i'm almost afraid to ask.

just think home field in the series was decided by a pitcher that won't be in the series. what a joke.

I couldn't agree more... It was a stupid idea, and I hope its not like this next year.
They had to do the inter league play I think. Baseball needed something to bring back fans after the strike. I'm kinda split on it myself. I like tradition, but I also like watching Bonds hit one out of Yankee Stadium. I also like watching the Giants and A's play, great cross town rivalry.

perhaps i might like interleague better if we had a cross town rivalry here. the closest thing we have is the twins and the brewers. it's more enteraining watching the T-ball game down the street. but i agree that those inter city rivalries are good for the game.

I don't think I would care about interleague play if there wasn't a cross town rivalry. I do like the tradition of baseball, and it sucks watching it become(or is ) a game about money.
