If aliens invade Earth....

and the only way to fight them was to nuke them,even if that WILL kill civilizans.Do you think the nuclear powers of the earth would?

No really what would be the point in killing yourself to kill your enemies.......that makes no sense. What if the radiation didn't affect them in the same way?........it would be utterly stupid to even think about it. No power would.....psychos might but no one in power would ever make that call.

at least we would go down fighting. I would strap a nuke on to my self and run into a army of 100 milloin aliens and nuke them all!! (no I am not a palastinian :lol

neuclear weapons would probably be used only as a last resort, if earth were invaded by "aliens". but it all depends on what other weapons/weaponsystens available to the governments around the world.

God knows what world governments would do in event of alien invasion. I hope we never find out

I think the original version of Mars Attacks (not the movie) has humanity beating the martians because we were going to blow up the earth with our nuclear submarines. Something the martians had not counted on when invading.

I'm sure that if there was any real (meaning not made up by our governments) alien invasion that our governments would rather blow up the earth than hand over the planet to another species. Though it will be completely against the will of the civilian populace.

If the aliens that invaded Earth were as close in technology as the ones that "abduct" people are, then we would stand no chance in hell. Sorry to say, but if they are that far more advanced, and study us, they would know how to protect themselves. You could give it a shot, but it would probably, at MOST, stun them for a while : (

I think our best chance would be disease. There could be a decent chance that they are not immune to some of our common diseases. Biological warheads might be our saving grace.

It stands to reason that aliens would be completely immune to earth-born diseases. We wouldn't even know if they had DNA or anything remotely similar to how life on earth is constructed. Even if they were DNA based creatures, their genetic makeup would likely be so different that any biological agent from earth would have no effect on them as any virus or bacteria would quite literally find itself in an alien environment and not be able to do much of anything.

Chemicals may have more effect, but we would have no idea if they would work on completely different alien physiology either.

heelstone don't forget, if the aliens invade, then it is most probably that also all the religions were based upon them... so we would be created to their equal...

by looking to ourselves we know a lot about the aliens...

i dont know if the disease theory would actually work. it would probably hurt us more than it would hurt them.

no bilogical entity is immune to bullets. they may very well have some kind of shielding against such an attack, but they would very much harm them.

Ps the aliens about which we are talking about are 400,000 years ahead technologically, good luck with fighting against them.

But if aliens are organic or what ever that word is called. Chances are bullets might do the job. But lets say theres a mothership in the earths orbit. I bet there will be a nuking against that.But im sure an army might hold them at bay in ground fighting if they are vulnrable to bullets. Just drom a couple billion tons of cluster bombs on them. and watch them die.

But doubt that will be of any effect on them, heroin and crack were developed for humans.
If we try hard enough, we can find something like heroin or crack for Aliens.

if this fight happends, the goverment os all the world MUST fight as one sivliens and all, hell givbe away all the guns we have all the weapons that are avlable,

maybe we could even use some of the nukes, but that would hurt us as much as them...

but seeing the only way they could get here is by changing time

then al they would have to do is put us on pause if thats posible

If all of Earth stands united in the fight against Aliens, most probably we will win, that is if we have a good leader.

Our technology might be inferior to Aliens, but if we use our weapons to thier maximum potential and find weakness in Alien's weapons, we might just win.

It sounds like it is never going to happen, but when our survival is in question, humans are capable of great things.
