I like to use all natural peanut butter.

1.)Toasted peanut butter and bacon sandwiches.
2.)Grilled peanut butter and cheese. (real cheese, not the plastic stuff)
3.) Grilled peanut butter and banana.

Numbers 2 and 3 are messy,but delicious.

My favorite is with bananas, but skipping the bread totally PB is great on apples and celery!

My brothers always ate PB and mayonnaise sandwiches when we were kids. I can't vouch for this as I never had the nerve to try it but they LIVED for them! Plain or toasted. Someone give it a try and let me know whether or not my brothers were lying!

Peanut butter and maple syrup.
Not artificial syrup.
Or even sorghum or molasses.
Now that I'm older, I don't eat them very much.

A childhood favorite of mine that I still dust off from time to time is Peanut Butter, Butter & Sugar. I know it sounds odd, but it's worked for me for 35+ years...

My 7 year old would not eat if it were not for the peanut butter sandwiches, straight up, nothing on it.

The big thrill for him is how we cut the sandwich...4 triangles or 4 squares, hand shape cookie cutter or ghost shape cookie cutter, in half at an angle or in half straight across, with the crust or without the crust.................man, I need a life!

For me, If I'm going to have a PBJ sandwich, it has to be with Raspberry Jam....I like Jam, not Jelly. I love raspberries

I've tried peanut butter with bananas, which is pretty good. I've also tried peanut butter with mayonnaise, ketchup, and mustard, which is a bit messy if you're not careful and put a bit too much of everything on it.

Favorite types of Peanut butter?

I found this stuff, which is a bit of an acquired taste, but doesn't have a lot of added sugar, I think. (1g per 32g serving), as molasses, not corn syrup.

Smart Balance

(Commercial site).

It was endorsed by Bob Green who is pretty cool. He was Oprah's personal trainer and I like most of what he says. I like it because it's a balanced blend of the Omega 3 and 6 (1.3:1)

Among other commercial types, I think people mention Jif brand.

Comments, preferences?
