The US ramps up technology to build and maintain a lead on all other competitors. Seemingly the 'systems' are now global in scope and showing greater and greater integration with other technologies.

Will these new systems lead to or enhance US superiority or only lead to more depth in the arms race?

Is the US preparing for a new enemy, one that will operate on a global scale? Who might that global enemy be?

Possibly another arms race, probably between U.S. and China.

The thing is how long can U.S. keep the secret to them self. It is same thing with the nukes. U.S. found them, but within a short time Russia developed them.

I think now U.S. will keep the technology secret, but it is just a matter of time before some other country finds it and becomes a super power and threatens the entire world.

You mean the 'Russians stole it' more likely. It doesn't matter anymore, it has a lot to do with ability to produce now as much as know how.

Yeah, it wasn't officialy accepted. But wasn't there someone in the U.S. executed based on their relatives testimony that the accused send Nuclear secrets to the Russians.

How can a country devasted so much by the Nazis, develop a bomb that took so long and so much input for U.S. to develop.

Lets be frank, the USSR has resources and numerous smart people. Also they have a history of emphasis on sciences which is an advantage without saying the obvious their military obsession.

But it is these strengths that are also their weaknesses and that is why in the end the only way to bring down the US is to cheat, cheat and cheat.

I only expect the best from the U.S.! We do spend as much money on defense as the rest of the world combined. Our power is unpresidented. There has not been a soul power of the world like this since Rome. We really are the new, kickass Roman empire.
