Maybe it was all a pisstake because I got sick of everyone being so serious about such a silly topic...but it obviously went over your head...you must be part of the Yank Special forces?

Disrespecting and discrediting highly trained U.S. Special Forces soldiers isn't "pisstake" to me. Sorry to jump on you like that, I didn't know you were being sarcastic; however to me it's not funny, and yet still shows me your ignorance.

Fair enough, we all have opinions, some more grounded in fact than others.
Best of luck (really) and kia kaha

Hey check these guys out; The Taiwanese Police SWAT Team. Hmm they look the goods to me. And as you can see Taiwan is not some easy care free place. Tee hee they have all types of Triad gangs there competing for turf etc
Talk about taking no prisoners these guys look like they are there to mess you up if you don't fully comply.

Yes, I believe they most certainly are.

Especially when 125 of them took on 10,000 heavily armed 'terrorists' in a land far, far away, in a forgotten war.

Hey dont forget the advance landing party of Bravo Two Zero that set it all up in those "terroist lands" and quite frankly ended up being a bit of a farce due to Higher-ups in the chain of command completely SNAFUing all the Intel.
Then to top it all off Andy McNab and Chris Ryan decided to write booka about it all and embelish the whole story as them being the brave heroic SAS soldier which wasn't true in all entirety.
As the investigative follow up book;
The real Bravo two Zero by Micheal Asher shed a hole lot of light on what really happened with a large proprtion being counter to what McNab and Chris Ryan claimed did happen.

Oh deary, deary, me! Fell into my trap there, didn't you Epsillon?

I was talking about the 125 members of `C' Sqn - 22 SAS in the long forgotten Chimurenga war in a country that no longer exists.

Ah yes the "C" Squadron of the 22 SAS of Rhodesia which reformed again in 1961. Indeed had a colourful history serving in various campaigns throughout Zambia, Mocambique, Botswana and Aden in the Middle East not to mention its very many name changes to that of 1 SAS, C Squadron The SAS Regiment of Rhodesia and then finally to,
1 SAS Regiment of Rhodesia when it was disbanded in 1980 when Zimbabwe became the new country.

Did your reseach, eh?

They were held in such high regard by the Pilgrims that there is, in the SAS Orbat to today, a blank space where 'C' Sqn should be.

If any of our South African friends can tell of first hand experiences, I would be most grateful for a U2U.

Ah yes being born in SA I should of known all of that. Invariably though the exploits of the other SAS regiments always seem to get more of a mention in the mainstream.

Mate hands down if you want skill and will to kill. You call the Australian SAS. These guys can get experienced in any climate without leaving our shores, they have a #ed up training course that is just brutal and they could be sitting on your porch for 6 months dug in and you wouldn't even know it.

"checks doorstep lol"

If you want serious fighting man go for S-13 from Israel they are #ing psycho. I was just reading a book on them apparently to get off the bus at the training depot the have to dismount from the back to the front and the people in the rows infront have to beat the # out of you and you need to fight your way off the bus. Now thats heavy.

Mate there are guys in the south australia police force that can out perform the seals etc. I am not bagging them out but to be honest if I had the choice and I had to be in the trenches with either the skinny as # Lil SASR troop or the bulky yank SEAL I am gonna pick the little SASR guy.

Simple as this you canbe big and not have an oz of fat on you and you can bench 300 kg all well and good but seriously these guys can barely pump out 200 push ups cause all the muscle on them makes them too heavy and they are using muscles that you dont use on the bench for instance.

I am saying this cause I am mates with an ex navy seal who has relocated to au and tbh we # around all the time play fighting and grappling and things and 90 % of the time I take him down and all I did was basic australian army training lol he was one of the most " elite special forces operators" in the world

You are a freak and shouldnt be on this forum simple as that. They will kill for you when your country gets occupied and you dont want to fight for your land.

I hope one day you need their assistance and they laugh in your face.

It's a fact that I know more ex-SEALs and current SEALs than you do or ever will. NONE of them are over 185lbs and some of them are taller than I (I'm 5'11). These guys are fluid, not big and bulky. We have spent more hours in the water than you have in a car. These guys are light, fast, and agile. 185lbs is just the LIMIT, most are under.

I don't know where some of you come off saying these SEALs are heavy guys, get your facts straight people.

Now, putting our differences aside... If you wouldn't mind I'd like the title of the book you're reading about the Israeli special forces
