Debating on forum issues?

Most of teh debate topics in teh debate forum are conspiracy related. I was thinking, if we could debate about issues relting to the board, it should be easier and faster to decide what to change.

For example, some people don't like the points system. We could get a debate going on about it's pros and cons, and have everyone comment on it and come to a resolution.

Any thoughts?

To rob the debates away from conspiracies would be an undoing of ATS, a conspiracy based site.

And besides, after having read the comments people have writing on other threads, let alone mine, debates are occuring naturally as it is. HALF THE TIME, THEY ARE DEBATING OVER SUBJECTS NOT AKIN TO WHAT THE THREAD IS ABOUT TO BEGIN WITH!
