I was wondering when did the earth bulged. I think it is bulged because of the speed of its rotations, but when did it happen while it was forming or after it formed.

Thanks for the help.

Ever since people started dropping fastfood into the crevices

Seriously, could you possibly provide a link or a even a picture that backs the fact the earth is bulging for us people who have been living under a rock and haven't heard of this?

But is it not common knowledge that the earth bulges due to rotation and gravity effect.

The assumption being that when rotation slows or stops that the bulge would be reduced or disappear altogther.

That is what I meant, althought it is not exactly what is in writing!!

When did that happen? Any guesses?

I believe it has always been bulged, ever since it was recognisable as a world.

Long before life was present.

If it is a natural thing, I would have to agree. I don't mean to mean, but if you knew this was happening naturally, isn't this like a "Duh" thing?

I think it happened last Tuesday.

And on wednesday it was formally recognised as a world.

I'd imagine during formation, as the world coalesced to a solid mass the bulge occured, ie after it had solidified, the bulge was there.

Couldn't someone just look this up and stop me theorising?

Could you guys help me out?

Yes, this is true.

The earth isn't a perfect sphere. It's actually more of a egg shape, with the roughly near the center, sort of a irregular elliptoid. I don't think that there are any pics of it because you would need a large clear shot of the earth from different angles. The shots would also have to be of the same scale.

Besides, with all the stuff covering up the earth, you really can't tell if there's a bulge just by looking at it.

Here is a page that explains the bulge and why it occurs. Also, the bulge has probably been present ever since the earth first formed and began rotating...

Before the Great Flood...the Earth used to be fairly round...nearly flat...with seas instead of oceans....jungle-like all across the terra-firma. Most of the waters of the earth were contained below the land...and God released the waters...like a great explosion...releasing it onto the land and into space even. The earth then change drastically...you now have oceans...mountains...valleys...volacanoes...etc. I can't stress enough how this website Creation Science will enlighten you.
