Some americans need to get a grip on reality!

Americans don't have a monopoly on ignorance and arrogance, although it is quite prevalent here in the USA. I love America but it is a far cry from what it should be. I am not some mindless, flag waving American who believes that everything this government does or says is right. Americans, for the most part, are pretty ignorant of other cultures. Most Americans couldn't find Iraq on a map. Most Americans can't speak another language.
Most Americans could tell you who won American Idol but they couldn't tell you what the Bill of Rights is. That is the sad truth. America needs to step back and keep it's nose out of other countries' business then maybe the rest of the world will begin to respect the USA again.

Very true, ignorance isn't uncommon here in the states. But it's like that anywhere you go. Whether it be Europe, Japan, or Iran there'll be idiots. It just so happens that our idiots make the most noise.
