I don't think that was in bad taste at all.

You and I both know that our military is totally underfunded and we rely on the Americans to defend our country.

It saddens me that 4 crew members died in this crash, but it only goes to show you that we can't depend on the equipment our forces have to work with.

I just want you to know that I have a very dear friend serving in Afghanistan, and I support the work our people in uniform do. I just wish they were wearing blue berets instead of helmets.

I have the utmost respect for our military, but I just wish our government would give them the support they need.
