Real-time TV added to Sprint mobiles

Will play one or two frames a second

NEW YORK (AP) -- Sprint Corp. is adding a television service for cell phones with real-time programs, albeit somewhat choppy, from cable networks.

The new MobiTV service, available starting this week, will cost $9.99 per month in addition to the monthly fee of $15 that Sprint subscribers pay to use the Internet data connection on their mobile phones.

Not another cell phone feature!!!!

Alright, why would you want to watch your favorite TV show, on a two inch small screen, paying 10 bucks a month for it, when it can only play at a frame a second?

Another potential device to make mankind dependent on techonology.

I still wonder, why all these features on your cell phone? I mean, if it was for your PDA, which has alot bigger screen and memory, then I guess it would be sensible, but why a cell phone?

What the hell is the point of that?
I don't see the attraction to television in the first place, why would anyone need, or want it on their cell phone?

I have this really huge grudge against the advance of cell phone technology, since it really is essentially useless and impractical if you compare to the other technologies available today on the market.

Cell phones are made to make phone calls on the go. To make them more portable, they've made headsets, which aren't such a bad idea.

And along came the games, so they made this???

If cell phone TV is makes a successful debut, I wonder what they'll make next?
