Mars: Take a peek into the North Pole

WOW!!!! ...again.
This is an image taken by the Mars Reconnaissance Orbiter.
An amazing shot that gives us a glimpse into the structure of Mars'
North Polar Region where a canyon called Chasma Boreale, cuts into the structure allowing a view of the layers underneath.
Remember this is a False Color image.

Damn, I wish they had 3d images of this sort of stuff. I'd really like to take a look at some of those features up close and personal. I guess going there would be the most educational...
