I'm sorry, I'm a little ignorant as to the significance of black helicopters. Near as I can tell these are just pictures of normal helicopters that are used by the military everyday. Could you explain how these helicopters are different? (I'm going to do my own research as well, I'm merely asking so that others who come into this thread will be able to see an explanation.)

No offence mate but I have never ever seen a black helicopter in flight, I have a fly over at least 3-4 times a day near my house going over the beach and quite often we have then just flying out to sea up the coast and never ever have I seen a black one in flight.

Our military Helo's are a dark green so if I ever saw a black one I would think it pretty significant.

Well first off, the pictures you linked to don't have me convinced that they are black anyway. They could just be a dark color, as most military helicopters are. Also, the government contracts with civilian companies such as Blackwater USA in Iraq, who have and use black helicopters. I saw black helicopters all the time while I was in Iraq, and they were just Blackwater USA contractors doing work for the US military.

Ummm...helicopters located at military bases, who woulda thunk it?

Dark colored, yes. Black possibly, can't really tell.

Also, Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE), uses black helicopters. Some are based at March ARB, Moreno Valley, Ca.

Along with soon to be 12 Predator UAV's.

First off guys, "black" does not refer to its color, "black" refers to it being a spec ops helicopter. It does not have a tail (N) number or other markings visible.

Many of those are green and can be clearly seen to be so, Just some shots of military choppers in military conditions, nothing unusal at all.

Why are people concerned helicoptors are Black?

Is the paint toxic or something?

If it`s because black ops etc etc etc etc are using them thats crap.Secret squirrels would just use normal colour helicoptors no.

The Uk sas ctw branch us a helicoptor in commercial design colours for use entering area`s where civi`s are.Not purr fect as the media know the design but are bloqued from publishing them.

Sometime in October while riding the PATCO train home westbound from New Jersey at around 4:30 pm, I saw three large black helicopters (the kind with two tandem rotors) followed by two smaller gray helicopters heading south over the Delaware River. The grey helicopters had a yellow/orange stripe on them. The train was crossing the Ben Franklin Bridge at the time.

Maybe there's someone else from the Philadelphia/South Jersey area that saw the same thing that I saw? It was rush hour, you know.

I don't know what the big deal with black helicopters are. We have some black helicopters here at my base, and more are supposed to be here by 2012. When we have movements here, we also have helo support which carry a fireteam just for added security. I'm sure people in town see us flying around and think the same things, however at least in my case it is just normal day to day security operations.

The article mentioned that many of the photos were taken at Camp Lejeune Marince Corps Base, NC. Anybody who knows a little about Marine aviation can tell that most of the helos shown in the article are CH-53's (the big one), CH-46's (twin rotor), a few UH-1's, etc...

No secret, no black projects and nothing to hide....the airfield is in plain view to people on and off base.

So when I said Black Helicopters here look at the link, did I infer they were manned by Black Ops or MIB's ? or were sinister harbringers of doom ? or that there was any ascociation with anything macabre ?

Ok I would like to state something here and some might not like it, the majority of people in this world respond to word ascociations like absolute unthinking automatons. If I said these strings of words "Little Green Men" it is instantly recognised by most as being a derisory demeaning put down to someone that for some reason bears significant validity.

Why is it when some people heard black helicopters that they instantly thought oooooh Black ops...CIA....MIB.... ?

Enjoy the pics on that link just dont put words in my mouth or try and twist things to make me appear to say things I never.

I dont know what to make of this site, it seems like a joke, but I just dont know these days, is this something that other people know about, or is this just someones fantasy?
Sorry if there is another thread on this topic, I could not find one, and don't really want to start one if this is just a hoax.
