I just found this out, i'm pretty sure it's new info, but if i'm wrong please correct me.

If you go to www.ie7.com..., you will see a a Giant Firefox logo, how awesome is that? I love Firefox, and I think the fact that they bought the url ie7.com before Microsoft could is just one of the most awesome moves ever.

This is Mozilla

and this is microsoft :bash: :bnghd:

LOL, this is great.

ps: there wasn't even a firefox logo.

pps: is that what you meant? ie7.com...

uber firefox logo "Neither this site nor Mozilla is connected with Microsoft."

Don't worry. Microsoft will probably use their damn lawyers to get around this one.

I don't think they can, the domain was registered in 1999 well before ie7 was even announced, the best MS can do is buy it out. The domain also isn't owned by the Mozilla foundation/Corporation.

So some person owns it and they put the firefox logo on it? I'm not going to lie, as much as i love computers and video games, i really don't know anything about websites (like how to make them, or the legalities), so could you please explain how somebody could use the firefox logo like that, or how this happened.

I really don't care how it happened, because i think it is very funny, but at the same time i would like to know.
