Coast To Coast - A Shadow Presence

It could be a photoshop fake - not saying that it is a fake - but we have to accept that as a possibility.

Also I save every picture in photoshop. I resize, crop, reduce red eye, etc. Doesn't mean a picture is a fake because someone saved it with photoshop. Photoshop is the standard image software now.

You all seem to think that the picture had to be messed with in order to get the result it did. False. I will say it again..If the motion is fast enough and the shutter speed slow enough it will automatically take on a ghostly,transparent appearance..

Probably what happened is that the lighting conditions weren't very bright so they had to put on both wide aperture and slow shutter speed. Hence, you get the transparent figure in the picture.

The icing on the cake for me, is the words "Adobe Photoshop" in the header of the picture.

Download it, save it, open in notepad or wordpad. That is why I think it had been edited to achieve the results.

If I didn't know this principle, I wouldn't be in business. 1/7th of a second is slow enough to make everything blurry and soft, but not slow enough to make movement ghostly and transparent.

This image to me shows very bad photoshopping. Look at the stripes, they shouldn't look like that. I can't tell you if they cloned out the person(my guess) or if they superimposed another image and then did erasing/cloning. Could be either.

I used to do profesional photography and that photo was done without flash under florescent tubes. That is why you have the greenish tint. I dont know what the figure is but it is not from motion blur. to many things that are moving faster than the shadow in this picture. There are peoples arms in mid air from being either raised ar lowered and many other signs of movement, but none are like this shadow figure.

This shadow to me looks added after the fact, somehting is not right but it is not due to a slow shutter. Bad photoshoping for sure.

To me it looks like supermodel Cate Moss wearing a stunning all black ensemble with bell-bottom trousers. But that's just me
