Aliens Visit the Earth

okay look i have heard people saying that alien life is much more smarter than us and they would think us an ant so why don't instead of us looking for them, why don't they come visit us officially. ANY THOUGHT S ON THIS

You can't just settle something that is extremely complex. The effects of an Alien presence on this planet would affect everything from Science to Religion to Politics. They may be more intelligent than us, hence they would most likely know that coming into contact with us would further destabilise an already unstable planet.
Maybe it's ok for us here who would understand and welcome them, but you can't speak for the millions around the world who are not prepared for this.

Thus a gradual release of information is more appropriate, the more people talk and recognise the "foreign presence" in movies, books, tv, radio, games etc the easier it will be to accept it.

most cities can't win a sports championship without rioting and burning newspaper machines.
just the impact it would have on religion would cause a global storm that would most likely be timber for a much larger fire. -- and it's sad. maybe next life...
