What are the saddest songs you know?

Everyone has their favorite sad songs.
Sometimes, that's the only thing that gets you through heartbreak.
What are the songs you listen to when you are heartbroken?
What gets you through heartache?

Someone sent me the song "Joey" by Concrete Blonde.
That's probably the saddest song I've ever heard.

"Ballad of Jayne" by L.A. Guns is also another one.
Although, not as sad as "Joey"

"Cemetary Gates" by Pantera is sad too, but it's more like an angry sad.
Y'know?

Not in the era of many around here but I always thought that 'songbird' by Fleetwood Mac was a very sad song.

My friends and I used to have a running joke about that song.
If you can listen to that song all the way to the end and NOT kill yourself, your life must be going pretty good.

That darn Blue October song *sniff, "sniff. What is it? Oh yeah "Hate Me". That's one of the saddest songs I've ever heard.

In fact most of that cd out they have is just sad. I had to keep listening to "Hate Me" and build up some immunity against how sad it was.

Thankfully it does'nt upset me anymore.

That's definitely on my sad songs playlist, aswell as a few songs by Evanescence ("Hello" and "Missing" come to mind mainly) but my fav is Floetry's "Now you're gone" ... beautiful yet so so sad.
