Demon, Ghost , or my imagination. pic ??

I recently moved into my new house and my whole family including my girlfriend have seen strange things ranging from dark shadows, bright moving lights or flashes ect, I myself have seen small blue flashes or red flashes infront of me and shadows and on a nightly basis ive seen things moving in a mirror just to the left of me, so i thought id take a few pics in the mirror reflecting the living room where most strange stuff is spoted, Out of around 20ish photos only 1 showed up anything noticeable.
so basicly id like any opinions on if its just my mind playing tricks or not. Ive had a few quite strong reactions to the photo but im not sure as it is poor quality.
The only alterations to the photo is wher ive zoomed on part which was done in adobe p/s and the pic was taken on 21.11.06 at around 1am on my brothers 3.1 mp digicam
Any questions just ask ill be happy to help and i have other pics of the same spot at the same time if ther wanted.

Edited to ask: How old is the house? Any known history of hauntings?


I've seen black shadows skittering away out of the corner of my eye.. but never determined what they were.. (just that they weren't mice!) But flashes? not sure about those.. Any neighbors got x-mas lights up that might be causing weird reflections?

And no ther was definatly nothing like that in the room at the time, and from what i know the houses are quite new around 40 years old but the area itself is famous for sightings so im trying to find out what was here before this house.
And the flashes of light im 99% sure they wudnt be reflections as they never seem to be on anything just in midair are very quick and small but noticable a bit like a blue or red spark.

I see a very frightening image hovering above the arm of that blue chair. It looks like a demonic face....I've circled the area in red that I see...

seriously, unless these are more of annoyances then things that are actualy terrorfying and dangerous, try taking more pictures or setting up cameras to record, it would be interesting to see what else there is.

Actually, now that I've stared at this image...it looks like abe lincoln with a top hat on. Look closely.

Thanks for the views good to see other people can see the same as me,
so far nothing bad or worrying has happened which would suggest anything being their other then a fire we had when we moved in but that was more down to bad cooking and asoon as i get the chance ill be taking more pics and some vids.

Lol, I agree! At any rate, I applaud Trancer's courage for posting his 'paranormal' photo here in this forum as I know fully well that one does so at the risk of being debunked and ridiculed sometimes as there are so many people out there who simply do not believe that there are such things as spirits! And, at the very least, Trancer's photo clearly confirms that spirits are not only of the 'unseen' world; but that they are also 'INVISIBLE' too!
And I can only speak for myself but I'm the first to admit that some of my ITC results and my other results that fall under other various paranormal categories sometimes seem to initiate an 'ostrich in the sand' syndrome, -- where such 'over-the-top' results seems too large a fit for those paradigm's many are operating under... even though ostensibly, those people appear to be interested in and are researching in paranormal phenomena themselves where some of them are getting their own interesting results, many of these same researchers appear to have set up their own personal 'standards' in those various types of phenomena's out there -- where those standards that they have set up are many times based on their own results in whatever phenomena it is that they deem themselves proficient or knowledgeable in --

Yet, if someone comes along showing results that over-reach those standards those researchers have set up in the evaluation of paranormal phenomena where many times they also seem to be imposing those standards onto everybody else's work -- many times, those results of those experimenters who are presenting results that over-reach those 'standards' are often times discredited by those individuals in one way or another to such an extent, the experimenter who's presenting such results eventually decides to keep all such results of this nature to themselves where they are no longer interested in sharing their work with those other researchers in the paranormal community because of this. It shouldn't be this way but sometimes it is.

to me it seems like an instance of matrixing...(the mind seeing what it wants to see)...after looking at the image...and then reading all the posts i have seen everything that everyone else has "seen" in the photo...not saying something's not there...just would like to see some of the other photos that you said you had of the same spot taken at the same time...

Dude,you have faces popping up all over the place in that photo!! I see one face that seems to have glowing red eyes in it. I suggest you pack up your stuff and get out. Really.

No...Not the blue spec. If you look, there are actually images on the door frame and in the reflection of the chair.

I still see nothing. Are there 2 mirrors in this pic, or just the one on the wall?
Could someone point something out, is my monitor set too dark?

Thanks for your coments and Toadmund when i sent the pic to my girlfriend she saw nothing which was due to her monitor being to dark so maybe the same with you?
And tbh i didn't see anything else in the pic untill other people pointed things out to me i only saw the figure behind the chair, and here is a pic of the same spot taken in the same place around 10 seconds or less after.

My only advise is for you to try your absolute hardest to duplicate the results. Same time, same camera and everything.

Thats just my two cents.

We as my wife and I thought we had a ghost in our first home together, it was a flat in a old converted hospital, the flats where in the only part of the original hospital left, the other wings got demolished and houses built, the part we lived was the wing for old people, so I guess quite a few died there too.

Anyways what I'm getting at is that I many times tried to communicate with the presence but all to no avail, don't get me wrong, the presence was not a problem and did seem quite content for us to be there, we got the feeling it was a old gentleman, I dunno why but that was what we felt.

Trancer if I was in your position I would do the same as I did before and try communicating with the presence, even though I would be "bricking it" at the same time. I know people will say I'm wrong but I have always had the mantra that only the living can physically harm me so I do tread sometimes where other would not.
