Wanna know what future Islam has in store for the west? Look to France for the answer...

I think this issue has to do more with the poverty these people are living in than the fact that they are Muslim.

I have to wonder how many "zones" in the US (and/or in Canada, for that matter) could be described simularly.

We all know that there are gettos where rampent crime goes unchecked and police/government presence is token at best.

I can think of 3 areas that I would discribe this way within my own city. The most notable would be the Downtown East Side. This is an area of wonten lawlessness, drug abuse, crime, etc. It's interesting to note that if you look at the faces in the area, very few are ethnic Middle Easterners. As far as I know, there's not a whole lot of Islamic faith going on either. Hell, ther only faith most of these people have is the faith that tomorrow will be just as bad as today.

Seriously, before you start blaming groups of people for things like this, maybe you should take a good long look around. How many areas in the West are under control of the Mafia, gangs, or just good old fashioned Dispare?
